What Our Customers Say

I have found Word-to-Latex very helpful for converting Word equations into LaTeX.

Marco, University of Modena

I have found a very satisfactory MS Word to DocBook solution by using Word-to-LaTeX, written by Michal Kebrt. The idea is to transform a plain old Word document file to a custom intermediate "flat" XML and then transform this to DocBook using a fairly simple XSLT

Giuseppe

Thank you a lot for your great work! You've made very useful tool.

Alexander, Saint Petersburg State University

This converter did a great job in terms of equations, where virtually no problems appeared and in the figures, which were saved as EPS.

Aguinaldo, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

Many thanks for Word-do-Latex. As we say in English, it saved my day.

Tom, University of Alberta

Michal Kebrt has done a great job writing a Microsoft Word to LaTeX converter. One can either run it as command line tool or using a GUI. Using a config file, one can even customize the conversion.

Urs

Just convert one of my old report from Word to LaTeX using your tools, it works properly! You really have done a great job!

Jiang, Shanghai University

I am a PhD student. I found your application really helpful to create resumes and creating tests for students.

Tatha, Delhi

Thank you for the great product. It is a wonderful tool, especially when making tables to embed into research.

Monte, University of Grenoble

I use your Word-to-LaTeX tool for a documentation project and I think it is a great piece of work.

Thomas, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich

Word-to-LaTeX is a nice MS Word to LaTeX converter that is very configurable. You can customize the output file to have a format that is nearly 100% ConTeXt, e.g. by teaching the program to write \starttext instead of \begin{document}. The program also can write a very clean output file, without all Word redundant font codes, etc.

ConTeXt Wiki

Thanks for your support. I will continue to use your program and I'll recommend it to others. Unfortunately very few ones write their documents in LaTeX, so we have to transform.

Luiz, University of Barcelona

Wow. This is super fantastic. I've used Word for a long time and I am really, really sick of fighting with it over formatting, so I had already resolved to learn LaTeX for my PhD thesis. The problem was figuring out the best way to convert existing documents with a minimum of effort.

Amanda, MIT

I would like to thank you for this nice converter. It recognizes many thing including \v{} chars.

Martin, University of Ljubljana

I used your tool with success. Converted our coding guidelines into LaTeX. Thank you very much for your work!

Thomas, University of Mannheim

We are working in Moscow Aviation Institute at Department of Mathematical Cybernetics. We use your program to translate our textbook into our own XML format.
